Hey there!

I'm currently a DevOps engineer at Sailpoint. I graduated from UMass Amherst with a CS major/math minor in 2024. My current work involves dealing with microservices at a massive scale, with a focus on IaC via Terraform and AWS, + Python for automation.

My skillset could be described generally as "full-stack" + "sysadmin", though admittedly this breadth means that I wouldn't call myself an expert in any domain. I still get by though, preferably using a Go + vanilla frontend stack.

I am a strong proponent of "declarative everything". I use Ansible/Terraform for configuring all of my infra (most of my projects are self-hosted on a single-node k8s cluster), and while both not technically IaC, I use Atlas for DB schemas and OpenAPI + codegen to generate all my API boilerplate.

In general, I try to avoid reinventing the wheel where possible, while keeping things as simple as possible.
